Team Spirit<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

For over 60 years, residents on Lake Barron have been organizing community events yearly.  The Lake Barron Regatta was a yearly event until 2019 and now the East-West Crossing is the event of the season. Residents and their friends and family can come and swim, canoe, kayak or row from the east end of the lake to the west end where a BBQ lunch is held to celebrate the accomplishments.  Information about the 2025 East-West Crossing is will be posted soon.  Notice will be sent out to our database!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This event has participants traveling by canoe, kayak, SUP or swimming from the east end to the west end of the lake. It is a distance of approximately 5 km.
We thank the Hindle and McOuat families for hosting the event in 2022, 2023 & 2024. The LBCA hopes to bring the event back in 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our friends in Dunany have kindly invited Lake Barron residents to join them on cycling and canoe\/kayak trips, if you’d like to participate.
