Principes de base de la sécurité aquatique pour le lac Barron

Boat wakes can damage boats and shorelines. Wakes can also put swimmers, divers and people in small boats at risk of capsizing. Be aware of how your boat’s wake can affect others when selecting your speed. Respect posted limits in tight spots, near rocks and dams, or at water outlets.  These are low-speed, wake-free zones. Speeds within 30 meters of shore must be No-Wake. Speed in No-Wake zones should never exceed 8 kph or 5 mph. You will be responsible for any damage caused.
